Not to be "that guy" but I guess I will, in the story of David and Goliath there is no mention of his stones being "blessed" or "magic". At most David offers up a prayer for his own strength and generally asks his god to help him. But historically, the slings was a vicious little projectile weapon in the hands of the…
Many would nit pick and say Canada IS in America, some are merely part of a United States of it.. but of course, I know what you mean. Just being jerky
Of course it would feature 3 jawa and a womp rat
And I really just hate that stupid foley sound. Heard it tonight on an ad for insurance...
Ugh. I hope it's just for that little short, but having the "giggling kids" foley sound really grates on my nerves. It's the wilhelm scream of children sounds, but not charming in its use. (scene pie stealing brother running)
Her accent? Is it a general dislike? Or do you question the authenticity? The voice actress is Kelly McDonald, from Trainspotting, very Scottish. I wonder though if she "thickened" it attempting to make it all old fashioned and legendary sounding
Bree Turner... I .. I think I became a furry lover!
I know the whole "hulks expanding pants" discussion is quite over played but this frame really showcases the silliness of it all. That and he has a great belt!
Back before the new trilogy was announced, there was a lot of subtle star wars resurgence in the media. I started noticing it more and more and then the re release of the originals in the theater happened and then I saw more interviews here and there from the actors, workers and Lucas himself.
I just remembered.. Hershel has Christ on his side. That gun don't need no shells! Only when he checks for ammo does his faith waver and therefore exhausts his ammo. Rick reminded him of that later on..
Yeah I suppose one can invoke the dreaded "it's just a tv show" argument, which I am not saying that you are doing here. It is often used in, "how come the zombies...." debates, but I am more in the camp of case by case moments in writing and that "grey area" that occurs in story telling that we assume is explained.…
Who will T hang with now that Jimmy is dead?
It is implied in the books as mentioned that there is a biology in effect that perhaps keeps them going a little longer, also in time the corpses dessicate to a point that whatever it is, virus/fungus/magic dust...has no means of survival and therefore zombie making power ie.. the dried corpses in the cars. New…
Rick knew. I am a failure
Ha.. nice. I appreciated that both as a former (for now I like to think) D&D player AND a father of a 3 year old girl who tells tales of her friend named "Danishi"
Yeah I looked at some shots, and I see that too. I thought maybe they were barn induced post mortem damage or general, arbitrary zombie wounds but it looks pretty well placed. Even her back has old blood running down the back, so she took at bite it appears. I stand corrected then. Still RICK DIDN'T KNOW!! ha
I was just reading through these, and other comments on other walking dead articles and all seem to follow the idea that, "Rick knew". I am not so sure. It is too easy for one thing and another he wasn't too careful there with Shane and he acted pretty interested in those guards as well.. etc etc.. What I got to…
Well yeah I remember them raving too, and even the pop up still shows up from time to time. But, it came, it kinda sucked, and they just stopped talking about it.
enjoyed that thinly veiled, er.. I mean blatant, snark immensely.
