Eh, I dunno, the damage doesn't seem consistent enough for something like that

That thing looks like it very narrowly avoided some massive frame damage. What the hell did he do side swipe a freaking car going 80?

If "swapping body panels and some paint" cost more then the fair market value of the car, the insurance company is going to total it out. I've seen cars have massive structural damage and was never branded on a title because, the repair was less then it would have been to cut a check for a totalled car.

Is it a full on sunroof?

Hmm, I hadn't even considered that at all. They would be able to do that? I've never done any real work with the body of a car, is it not that hard, just gotta pay particular attention to what you're doing?

Ahh alright, I imagine it would be quite a pain in the ass to reseal it all the time.

Oh nice, what was it, a Cherokee?

Ahh alright. One of my concerns with an aftermarket one would be water leaking in, but not quite getting in the cabin, staying in that inbetween area and rusting the roof, have you ever seen that happen?

Okay I had a response to this, but lets be honest. This is boring and you are just trying to troll, badly. It was mildly entertaining but now you just bore me. Bye bye.

Were the aftermarkets about the same as the factory sunroofs?

I would recommend that you stop, because your comprehension of what I was saying is pretty lacking. 4 people replied to me knowing exactly what I meant, but you didn't. Congratulations you are in the lower 20%. Go ahead and have your fun, but you are pretty boring to be honest.

Aw.

Really, you don't say? Clearly you didn't understand what I meant, when the other 3 or 4 people that replied to me did. So I will end our correspondence here.

Never!

Ahh alright, well that makes sense as to why I haven't really seen it a lot, I was born in the late 80's, so I plead ignorance and keep my card!

Ahh, very true. So it should be just as good as if it came from the factory then?

Really? That's crazy, it doesn't compromise the car in any way, done like that?

Yeah that's what I'd be most afraid of, and water slowly seeping in but not leaking into the cabin, but the water staying in that inbetween space, rusting the roof

"-When an aftermarket sunroof was installed in the late 80's they cut out most of the factory headliner, and it is literally falling apart now"
