Yeah I believe these engines can be absolute monsters, I just didn't know that they actually intentionally added horsepower while still under reporting it, just seemed a bit odd to me, like a manufacturer giving away stuff, but in the end makes sense. That's why I wasn't really buying it at first, granted I do not

Well, the type of people that were going to buy the GT-R in 2008, when the economy was in the tank, also weren't the type of people affected by the tanking economy, you also have to take that into account. People who are buying 70,000 dollar cars aren't flipping burgers making minimum wage, they are people making

Well, 2008 70,000 dollars is equivalent to 75,000 dollars in todays money. So there is still 25,000 dollars unaccounted for that makes todays GT-R cheaper then yesterdays. And I could believe some discrepancies with the hp figure, especially the bhp to whp, but almost 100 hp difference? That is a lot of damn power to

"That 2008 70k is like 120-130k now, so it's actually cheaper than before."

Same here, I have a 944, but the allure of more power, in a more affordable, lightweight, and more reliable package then my 4 banger, makes me not want to wait before I can drop an LS in it.

The entire LS series of engines has my vote, they sound mean as shit, can create gobs of power, and they are affordable for broke DIYers like myself, very light considering for what they are, and you can put them in damn near anything. Plan on eventually putting one in my 944.

Take a look at Israel, tiny country, however, they have superior equipment and training, I mean at one point Israel fought all of it's neighbors, and won, I believe it was called the six day war.

So now they are showing up on peoples door steps, how long you want to bet before this starts getting violent and google employees start getting attacked at their own home? I'm all for a good protest, shows you are trying to do something, but the way this is escalating, just has bad news written all over it.

Not to mention an awesome theft deterrent since most people these days can't drive a stick

You don't use a hammer when the situation requires a scalpel.

Pretty good write up man, I like it. And k can attest to having a car that constantly breaks down and just getting an easy to use vehicle. I own a 944 that doesn't want to let me fix it and has actually tried to dismember me (I'm convinced the only reason I didn't have my had chopped in half was only because of an act

If your butthole doesn't clench up at least once because of your car on your daily commute then you aren't living.

Alright thanks man. Need some winter wheels

Paint gets fucked up. Something you have to deal with when owning a car, you can either get pissed off at those swirls (Trust me I'm on your side here, I fucking hate them too, but utility > looks) or you can use a DA polisher and get rid of them.

Hes a smart guy, so I think hes figured out that doing this now, is far, far cheaper in the long run (lost customers, bad PR due to potential fires), except customers haven't had to pull teeth in order for him to do it, he just up and did it. I think it's more about maintaining a superb record of their vehicles.

I really want them to touch on the new Spartans more in the next Halo. Yeah we had Spartan Ops and all that on Halo 4, but I want to see it integrated into the main story more. I mean Spartans now are the new super badass special forces, minus the body augmentations, right?

Whatever happened to frisky dingo anyways? It only lasted like what 14 episodes?

Key word, well conditioned, a lot of people riding around I see on well worn tires. Those are alright in the summer but in the winter you at least need tires with some pretty good tread on them. The first snow of the winter, I was up in Baltimore, drove all the way from there to Woodbridge in it, on some all seasons,

That's the thing I was getting at though, most people never bother to learn about their car and what it can truly do, stopping distances in optimal conditions, etc. And that's why I just use the blanket statement of what I said in my last post, if you can drive, and you have a good understanding of your vehicle, then
