Explain, in as many words as it takes, how “I wish cops wouldn’t kill people” is one side or the other of a political spectrum.

This shit right here is EXACTLY why I won’t buy a Tesla. I’ve come close to pulling the trigger on one three different times. Each time some new story pops-up beforehand where Musk puts his dangerous narcissism on full display.
Last year I took a 401k loan to pay off the remaining 10 grand I owed on my student loans to save on the high interest rate paid to the government (which was basically matching my ROI) and instead pay interest to myself as well as get rid of PMI on my mortgage. Where’s the 10k check for everyone who paid their dues…
That’s what it feels like sometimes... Rewards for the dumb upper class and the dumb lower class.
This.
Yeah I can get $10k back for student loan debt that was paid off in a timely manner while I didn’t buy other things I wanted because I foolishly thought it was more responsible to eliminate debt first before buying nice things?
So everyone complains about how towing destroys EV range, but everyone forgets it also destroys ICE range... do we just ignore that? Or does that not fit the narrative of “gas/diesel good, electricity bad”
Doesn’t the 2.0t recommended premium? Should revise its price to $3.00 per gallon. The diesel should be about $2.80 per gallon. $2.30 is about right for regular unleaded in Charlotte, NC, as of today. The other prices are roughly correct for the diesel and 93 octane here as well.
For me personally, I do construction in Portland OR metro area and even the lowest range model would be more than enough for me to drive a trailer with thousands of pounds of tools and materials to a job site and drop it off, while still having a cheap vehicle to drive for the rest of the week.
I don’t know that it’s really the weight that’s as much of an issue as it is the tremendously increased drag. I don’t think our truck cares much whether the trailer is empty or full, it’s more about pulling a parachute behind you at 70 mph that seems to be it’s problem. Weight does factor into it, but once you’re…
Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die
sometimes really subtle things like how someone responds to “ok” tells you a lot about them as a person. so when someone interprets that THEY think “ok” is dismissive, it tells me they are the sort of person i dont want to deal with. people spend so much time talking and socializing and being afraid that someone’s…
and people wonder why we introverts hate everyone. you all keep inventing these stupid rules and making interacting with anyone a complete chore. if somebody thinks im rude or dismissive by typing “ok” to their text and gets offended, they deserve it and they did it to themselves. as far as im concerned they are doing…
It goes the other way in professional environments. If you use too many exclamation marks, and are too wordy, you’ll be immediately identified as a simpering, unconfident dicksneeze. I can’t stand getting emails with the subject being: ‘Hey! Can we get together to discuss next steps? Thank you!!! :D’
Screw this. If k or ok does the job that is what I am using. If you can’t handle it.....too bad.
You don't have to guess how much your gas's will cost the transaction will end when the gas stops pumping and you will only be charged for what you pumped.
She wasn’t a badass girl, she was just badass.
To lead, I believe you have to pick a direction.
