Show us a picture of the cell used in the Hummer.

And there are a HELL of a lot more trucks like this on the road than there will ever be $110k+ Hummer EVs.

Most of your points were spot on.

The calculator they use to determine the MPG for CAFE rules is absolutely wild. The Excel spreadsheet is available online if you Google:

Doesn’t “light truck” mean <8500 lbs?

His “source” for this was the article saying the average fleet MPG would be 40 MPG for 2026. Without considering that:
1.) It’s not 2026 yet, so this rule is not yet in affect.
2.) Even if it were 2026: This only counts NEW vehicles. Most vehicles on the road aren’t NEW

These trucks do not need 220.

A typical 120v outlet can add around 5 miles of range per hour. These trucks sit parked 15 hours a day. That’s enough time to pull down 75 miles of range.

So many things in the article are just factually incorrect.

It’s significantly quieter, but I’m not sure if it’s specifically from the rear tires because it’s harder to notice tire noise in the non-EV models due to so much noise from other sources.

This is the old one. Not sure why they are writing about a 3 year old car like it's something new.

“Don’t get me started on the powertrain or lack of steering feel.“

Why is this an article?

Comments like this make me angry. Not everyone can get vaccinated yet. Ask any parent of a child under 5 if the been able to get their kids vaccinated.

“When they reached a certain point, caused by the fuel-air mixture becoming richer due to the driver pressing the accelerator pedal more”

Maybe I missed it. I’ve been watching his videos for a while now... What propaganda are you referring to? I just had to Google what “thin blue line” meant and I don’t remember seeing or hearing this on his channel anywhere?

People run cords across sidewalks all the time. They even have this neat invention that allows you to put a piece of plastic over it so that it doesn’t become a trip hazard. Try googling: “Pedestrian Cable Protector

I’m confused by this statement:

What EVs were you shopping that the price difference was $10k with incentives? I have purchased four EVs and I have helped many friends and family members purchased EVs and I have never encountered this.

They are already doing something quite similar. Part of the VW diesel setttlement was several billion dollars were set aside to be distributed to the various states for the purposes of building EV charging stations. (This money is separate from the Electrify America money being spent directly by VW)
