It has the option to do jars but be prepared to replace that green hose every 2-3 months if you use it very often at all. At $15/pop that hose will quickly cost you more than the vacuum sealer. I’ve spent $60 in replacement hoses on mine in the first 12 months of ownership. FoodSaver doesn’t seem interested in fixing

It has. This is exactly how a BMW i3 works (ICE only powers a generator) and for the most part the Chevrolet Volt works mostly the same way (ICE primarily only powers generator but can be connected to wheels for extra acceleration in certain cases).

Not that that isn’t a great idea for cross country rigs. I have to agree with most other comments that it’s probably not the market Tesla is aiming at.

We traded our 2013 LEAF (That we paid $15k for) in and leased a 2016 LEAF in it’s place about 8 months ago, long before the Bolt was on the market.

People need to stop trying to determine EV “savings” by looking at fuel cost alone. That’s *not* where the most significant savings are in an EV.

That’s why I love the way Firefox does it. Don’t autofill anything until I click in the text box to be filled. It may not be as fast as autofilling a whole page but it’s a lot more secure.

Erm, I just noticed an error in my math. I ended up doing 21 hours a day instead of 3. Here’s the corrected version:

Google voice is not laggy or VoIP AFAIK unless you’re using it to make phone calls with your computer or over Wifi. When I make Google voice calls they go over the standard carrier grade lines like a regular call and there’s no discernable lag or reduction in voice quality with those calls.
