Yeah Man I'm Him

The men are always going to receive a larger share of the revenue based on the amount they receive by mere participation instead of merit (boy does that sound familiar).

Yep.  It always comes back to Jimmy D.  It’s like he took the crown of worst owner from Sterling and ran with it.

Couldn’t happen to a better organization. Eli Manning should have been put to pasture several years ago. Mara is feckless and a coward for ordering people to do things then not taking ownership of his decisions (you know he gave the order to McAdoo to bench Manning and Gettleman to trade O’Dell). The Giants’ way is

Players know Cuban is an ass-clown and not worth the trouble. Outside of LaMarcus Aldridge, name one marquee free-agent that’s ever gone to San Antonio? Paul George was traded to OKC and resigned there. He willfully didn’t go there in the beginning. Historically small markets have not gotten any play from free agents.

Exactly. Why would he deal with the circus and the inherent blame for when things go wrong and none of the credit when things go right. The man just took down a dynasty and was an integral part of taking down another. Now he’s attempting to dramatically alter the perception of a third, this time one of the 2 pillars

100% agree. In fact it’s quite asinine. It’s why the NFLPA is the weakest and most feckless out of all the leagues. The NHL has something similar to what the NBA does regarding placing a percentage of player salaries in escrow. I believe the NHLPA has the ability to withdraw from it on a yearly basis in relation to

CBA. Apparently that was an excuse the Raiders used to let Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper go. They didn’t want have the money to put those guarantees up.

That’s poppycock. My company works directly with a major MSO and cord-cutting (which is the true culprit in all of this) has absolutely nothing to do with what you mentioned. ESPN is still dependent on receiving those transmission fees from MSOs. Even when you log into the app you still have to have a cable

Only when when it directly affects them.

This. Oh so this. 45 injected politics into sports the moment he commented about Kaep and athletes kneeling.

In other words Dan isn’t going anywhere unless he chooses to. Talk-show and radio personalities are just like athletes to these people. Once their usefulness is no more they will be jettisoned.

“The NFL trafficking painkillers across state lines and not being prosecuted because without it the modern game of football wouldn’t exist is politics.’

The problem is the double-standard. Cain is entitled to his views and has the ability to freely express them without provocation. Yet when someone else who doesn’t have a similar viewpoint than he or people who think like him does, then letters of admonishment are issued.

Because William’s views are in lock-step with the suits (hence it’s not political but opinionated).

Mina (who is incredibly underrated), Clinton, Bomani and Pablo (when he doesn’t try to sound like the smartest person in the room) are exceptional and sound be given more play. Unfortunately the collective intelligence quotient of the nation clamor for the Steve A. Smiths of the world.

So true. I think Bob saw where ESPN is shifting to and said to himself “the hell with this”.

Dan is completely right when he said the Jim Browns and Bill Russells of the world will realize the very things they fought for hasn’t made a single difference. In fact I’d argue in some instances it’s gotten worse. Case in point:

What Pitaro and others of his ilk meant to say is not to talk politics he and said ilkers don’t agree with. Haven’t seen Sage Steele get reprimanded or suspended when she went on her diatribe last year.

She is of course lying.  What makes it worse is this is the advice she received after weeks when this first came out.

A hard cap is completely idiotic. Why should inept organizations continued to be bailed out from their incessant stupidity? For every Steve Ballmer there’s a Robert Sarver.
