Aside from the requisite red Solo cups, all house parties should keep a stock of those super-absorbent hospital pads on hand too. Yes, they’re expensive, but stick a couple of those under a passed-out person and your morning/afternoon cleanup is so much easier, especially if you’ve got carpet everywhere.
Maybe back-to-school was just a clever excuse :)
Note to R.A.’s: POST THIS IN THE HALLWAYS OF THE DORMS!
10 points for the serene classical music playing in the background. Pretty great soundtrack for these shenanigans.
Fg = G*m1*m2/R^2
He’s right, folks.
Remember, when loading your vehicle, heaviest stuff goes on top. Gravity gets weaker with respect to distance away from the earth so the higher up it is, the less it weighs. Its science
I look forward to when in 10 years time they are worth £5,000 and I can go conquer the Highlands.
Needs wider profiled tires.
See my response to Mr dave1827. I think they were trying to do this on purpose.
200,000 vehicles/year is a low production vehicle? Relative to what, the F150?
It was asking for trouble mounting the chain so high. That puts a huge bending load on the frame. Mounting to the tow hitch mount (NOT the ball hitch itself) puts basically no bending load on it.
Not to be pedantic, but the 78lb-ft/L that the twins put out is about as good as it gets in any NA application. People can whine about their relatively small displacements if they want, but not a lack of torque per se.
If you have unlimited resources and are named Gail Banks, its easy as pie.
Agreed. Overall the trucks did much better, from a reliability perspective this year for sure. It’s pretty awesome to see how power and torque numbers aren’t everything. Truck size and weight play a role in each competition. Lavon’s truck was my favorite this year followed by the Ford with the dual wheels and built…
Lavon really was in another class, but I was almost as impressed by the bottom tier guys. There was still a fair bit of grenadage, but nothing next to what they’ve had in recent years.
Nuh-uh, Jalopnik told me that you can make power without smoke
InB4 the people who don’t understand chemistry or combustion: yes, Diesel engines smoke when they’re under high power, this is different from rolling coal, get over it.
