Portal Axles. I am putting a set on my truck some time in the unforeseeable future.

Please tell me that this is not true:

My friend with a Miata almost destroyed it attempting to get a bed frame home from Ikea. I get a call in the middle of lunch with my girlfriend asking me to help him get the bed all the way home in my truck. I get there, get the thing loaded, and my girlfriend asks if she can ride in the Miata because its a

This seems to sum it up quite well:

The card issuer also gets paid by the shop every time you use your card. That is why a lot of places don’t allow card use under a $10 purchase. They can actually lose money on the purchase.

This is the Free Money method of using Credit Cards. Highly preferred by the users; highly unpreferred by the issuing company.

The lines of the bed do not match the lines of the cab at all.

I believe that GM is the only company using IFS on their Heavy Duty line as well. Is that correct?

This is the strangest tailgate design I think I have ever seen...

Looks like they had the cable running up super high in order to be on the level with the other truck. But that essentially made the rear tires the fulcrum for lifting the front of the truck off of the ground. He has a ton of concrete in the bed of his truck (and a giant weight on the front) because physics says that

True, and not. The real issue is that they can’t make more power without smoke without redesigning the engine. The smoke is from unburnt fuel. The fuel goes unburnt because there is not enough air to burn all of it. So a lot of people say, “Why not just use only as much fuel as there is air.” The problem with that is

As good as it gets... right now.

I have watched these through every year that they have done them. Its really sad to realize that the truck that I bought would have to be made seriously illegal in order to do any of these. Now that blowing smoke and getting a DPF delete is (technically) illegal, pushing the amount of power out of these new vehicles

Python is great for teaching languages. It forces the writer to learn how to format their code to be read cleanly, primarily because it uses tabs rather than braces to denote functions and the like. It looks a lot like the sudo code (pun intended) that people are taught to jot their ideas down in before they start

A lot of defense contractor software systems are still written in Fortran. If you want a job that is not going away possibly ever, and don't mind doing maintenance, learn Fortran.

I really wish they would stop adding Ruby to these lists. As a Software Developer in Silicon Valley, I have a lot of other friends that are Software Developers as well. Everyone is talking about how Ruby is on its way out. I am no longer hearing a single person transitioning to Ruby, while nearly everyone that is

I have always been told through life that boat was actually an Anagram. B.O.A.T. = Break Out Another Thousand.

They might even make you some money

I do have to admit, she is 6’2” and around 180. And I am only 5’4” and 170. And the person in the other passenger seat is 5’6” and 190.

People will manage fine. My complaint is that it is a complete waste of space. Having a stick shift where it is makes complete sense. Having a stick that you use once when you start driving, and once when you stop driving, in the middle of usable space makes no sense. Put it somewhere where it will be out of the way
