"Hillary, Hilly... can I call you Hilly? Relax baby. Yeah, yeah, I know it was our guy that leaked this stuff, yeah, we're dealing with him. But Hilly, honey, it's not that big of a deal. Relax. Calm down, there's no..."

@DrXym: See my other replies so far.

@pjcard: See my reply to SixTwoSixFour.

@SixTwoSixFour: The Cell consists of a set of SPEs, driven by a single PPE, and the SPEs are where the Cell's computational power comes from. Each SPE only has access to a small mount of local memory that is visible only to itself and the PPE.

The Cell processor was never the bees knees; it's a flawed architecture. That's why the supercomputing industry more or less skipped it and went to CUDA (and GPGPU in general) for our vector processing needs.

Looks kind of cool. But everything else about it is insulting to the intellect. It reads like a twelve year old's scribblings. Why not just describe it as 'made from unicorn hair and powered by pixie dust;' at least that would be honest.

Not to harsh on anyone's buzz or anything, but looking at the page this is definitely at the 'wouldn't it be nice?' stage. Unfortunately, the idea of a fully centralized domain name system is almost an oxymoron, at least, one that behaves in a manner recognizable as 'DNS.'

@AreWeThereYeti: Apple treats its customers like a bitch, because they take it.

@xunker: And a flywheel.

@Bcloutier: They maintain the pattern because they navigate the holding pattern using a radio beacon, or set of radio beacons (usually VOR beacons, less commonly NDB beacons). So a holding pattern may specify that the plane sticks to a certain radial on a VOR beacon, and a pilot using his (or her) navigational

@leptonette: If your problem can't be solved with the calculus of variations, I'm not interested :P.

@kwellman: They've only released a fraction so far.

@madisondj: Yeah, that's the question.

@buckleyneko: You're assuming that this stuff should be disclosed. That tells me that you haven't actually read these cables.

@jepzilla: And if you want to disagree with me, here's one of the leaked cables:
