I thought the sex gag was a little too long and not realistic in the porny type of way.

His work with a large triangle is his best achievement and what got him the grant. Its almost a mix of juggling, physics, and tap.

Right! What an unusual statement, especially from an AV Club writer. Provably is a strange term to use as well, since it usually exclusively applied to math algorithms.

I'm sure someone else has made this statement, but I can't help but say it. If this show is tailor made for AV Club readers, then why in the hell is it not being reviewed every week? So they can write about the best TV or films half way thru the year? What a joke. I'm can't decide which is more disappointing to me: AV

He's much more entertaining as himself during the behind the scenes videos.

Love that movie, it's the best performance of Carrie Fisher's career with a dazzling performance by Kline.

Along with the impeccable performance by David Lynch. Those are the absolute best episodes of that series.

You sure deserve it.

My favorite performance of his is in Albert Brooks' film Lost In America as the baffled casino owner who has the patience to listen to Brooks' try to negotiate a refund. Just watched it for the fifth time on NF.

I'm finding it hard to watch this show in a critical way. Predictable story lines and characters that are defined by plot usually piss me off, but goddammit it hits my nostalgia sweet spot and the thickest of the meta moments actually humor me.

It's more about me disliking the genre's war, crime, and action movies in general. Just a personal thing for me. I did like seeing Hillary Swank grt punched in the face however.

Two lovely Matthews in that one.

I would never forget her and I feel she should be nominated separately for Allison and Helena. This is her second Emmy Nom.

Agreed, but I also truly enjoyed Nash's performance. It will probably the best performance of her career.

The Beguiled is the only Eastwood film I've liked. However, I still haven't seen Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, which looks like an intriguing and baffling Cimino film.

This is the best nomination list for the Emmy's I've ever read. I'm so thrilled for team The Americans, and for Sarah Paulson, and Louie Anderson (?!). FX killed it this year. EDIT: Oh and noms for Metcalfe and Nash for their perfect performances in Getting On!

I think it was.

He will be starring in a show about HG Wells, and I think he probably grew his hair out to provide that greased back hairstyle of the time. He was also in GoT this season as one of Sam Tarly's brothers.

Dont they do that all the time in the real Bachelor?

In a behind the episode, a director and Zimmer stated that the actor often improvises his hosting banter.
