I could not agree more. The general hoariness of the circular camera movement taken to such extremes feels almost intentionally awful.

The "Backpfeifengesicht” is strong with Schwimmer in this role. Every time he says 'Juice' I'm reminded that this is a Ryan Murphy show, and he likes to troll his own ventures. It's working for me, though.

Larry 'Henderson'? Cheeky.

Agreed. Or their relationship could evolve into romance, but I just don't see it on the screen. I mean, she did just try to kill herself, which would be a very auspicious start for a relationship.

I don't think their bonding has anything to do with romance. Maybe it could evolve for them after the movie plot, but its not romantic. Certainly not from her. Also, I call out corporate greed and corruption because his job is threatened.

I'm sold.

That's a tough one too, but at least there's intimacy between the two characters and an attempt at a lasting relationship.

As a feminist I wouldn't mind the abuse if there was also a male-voiced version.

Sorry, AV Club. You lost me at The Apartment. There is absolutely nothing romantic about that film. I say this so obtusely because I believe that to be the entire point of the movie. It's one of the most subversive films of that era specifically because it goes to great lengths to disprove the effectiveness of

"There's another character that's just as important …New York City!"

I like Louis CK, and have for years. I feel that Louie is starting to produce diminished returns, though, and I'm really questioning whether this seems worth the cash.

It seemed similar to shorts that air on Adult Swim; Too Many Cooks etc…

Hmm. I thought that was the joke. I've probably misused my sarcastometer again. For real though, it gets harder as time goes by.

True. I just feel like they haven't had a good new drama in forever. The trailers for Vinyl do not bode well.

HBO needs to get their shit together. It sounds like Westworld will be an epic fail, too. Also, MoS Ashford? That sounds like a hot mess.

And his hairline which is the most realistic performance his head has given since Pulp Fictions's feisty little bob.

And Travollta as Robert Shapiro? Schwimmer as poppa Kardashian? Selma Blair as Kris?

Right? Selma Blair as Kris soon to be Jenner? Selma is anorexic-skinny.

Yeah, I was gonna come back and edit that. However, he didn't always write the scripts for Glee or AHS. The glaring omissions up there skip over how credible Travolta's and Schwimmer's performances are. I would be more interested in the KKK stuff if Kris wasn't plaid by Selma Blair. I love Selma, but that casting

A-! Obviously, I haven't read the review up there, but I really struggle to believe that anything Murphy creates deserves an A-. The casting alone made this look like it was going to be a failure of epic proportions. I'm disappointed, frankly.
