'no one else should try to do a flashing-lights-at-the-club drug sequence. But, hey, that’s just me!' Nope, Kayla it's not just you.

I can't remember the last time that a plot line including prison didn't also include prison rape.
They may not be 'unknowns' but they rarely get covered on TV.
Are you referencing John Oliver specifically? Because I think that show especially excels at introducing topics that don't normally get any air time on MSNBC or the Huffington Post.
Nice diplomacy apropostrophe. Initiating these type of discussions requires the political savvy of a Secretary of State. Except for Hillary, of course! ;) ;)
He was perfectly cast in this role. This series resemble many of his plays. Most notable in subject matter.
These are very astute observations. Also, just him drinking whiskey …'explains how the Rayburns relate to painful memories, family secrets, and general family problems'.
It's clearly not helping their situation-which is emotionally frustrating. I think it comes from a place of personal regret though. Like Potts seeing Robert dead troubled his conscience. As people age and die in my life, I notice this is a very common occurrence.
I had to force myself to stop binge watching because of it. I don't think I can hold out forever.
I might be the only one who enjoys watching Norbert Leo Butz as Kevin (especially drunk). The character isn't written as well as some others, but he finds nuance in his performance. FY: He and Finneran (Belle) have many Broadway credits, and they both have won two Tony's each.
Well I can see your POV . I guess I didn't read the subtext of calling him an asshole. I feel better informed now.

Any other disparaging names you would like to call him? I think he's making a salient point here. He's stating this directly because many people seem angry at him for not finishing his books 'on time'. I think the fear of spoilers has hijacked the critical discussion of his books.
Calling an author an asshole because he's not writing fast enough makes you the asshole.

My favorite Errol Morris doc is Tabloid.
I just watched 'The Central Park Five' and it was unlike any Burns doc I've seen. It was co-directed/produced by his daughter. It was very compelling.
I still hold out hope that the book will get the film treatment. I'm probably alone in that, though. It might have been more appealing before this last season of AHS.
Uh, I'm not buying it. Not technically, and not figuratively. There is no way that this film doesn't quickly evolve into a 'shoot 'em up'.
When I first watched Gummo 17yrs ago, I couldn't imagine that Korine would ever make a movie with Al Pacino. BTW, I still think that is his best film.
