FWIW, I agree that he shouldn’t be “made fun of,” and also he’s Ryan Reynolds and he (forgive the pun) gives zero shits about being made fun of.

Amen to this. I work with a guy who is 53 and refuses to get one. This needs normalized.

My own stray observations:

A shout-out to Mark Mothersbaugh’s work on the score for this episode. I rarely notice the scoring, probably because the cast is usually talking a mile a minute over it, but the driving strings underscoring the extended sequence where Colin Robinson discovers and then enters and investigates the hidden room was some

I lost it with his pronunciation of “Bing-hamton”

the show has gotten way more queer and with that they are definitely leaning into the kink and raunch way more, I love it.

Laszlo’s “I could go on” that you highlighted above is yet another hilarious read by Matthew Berry. It’s amazing how he can just hit a certain word funny and destroy you.

Of course they are, they heard it on Faux “News”.

They absolutely do. Every time there’s a trans article on here I get the same troll demanding to know whether I think a ten year-old should be allowed to take puberty blockers. If that’s ever happened (I’m guessing it maybe did once), then it’s an outlier and a half. But of course, that’ll be what they focus on, not,

Its not, Jazz Jennings had her surgery at 17 and there were some other under 18's featured on I am Jazz, who had their surgeries at 16 or 17.

Um, that “talent manager played by Rainn Wilson constantly sports a red bow tie and top hat”, is Dr. Demento. How could you not know that?

Pretty sure Rainn Wilson is dressed like that because he’s playing Dr. Demento, who is usually seen dressed like that. But that doesn’t really make it that much less absurd.

History will remember it as the best drama of the 2010s and not Game of Bros.

According to Beau Jo’s website they have a location in Arvada just NE of I-70 and Wadsworth. I’ve known for years there was location in Evergreen, but apparently they have six locations and a food truck.

you forgot HILARIOUS too. ;-)

Only Murders in this Bodega

Does anyone besides Beau Jo’s serve Rocky Mountain pie? That’s pretty much their exclusive gimmick.

She’s the closest thing we have in modern-day celebrity culture to the feigned stupidity of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in the early aughts, and I’m holding onto her for dear life.

eta: I would posit that this cover and the shoot within are a downright love letter to their friend Linda and if anyone would prefer a respectful take on this please visit the ladies at go fug yourself:

Oh Audra, you didn’t read the interview did you?
