I will always love Minnie Driver. She came to my city for a local cancer org’s fundraiser, and my dad happened to be in the hospital at the time being treated for pancreatic cancer (he unfortunately passed away nine years ago this month). She took the time to visit with a ton of patients, including my dad, without PR

You know that a majority of us are not ultra orthodox, right?

We have been using this as a tactic when speaking with legislators for decades.

Seriously. This incessant need to be edgy on this website is exhausting.

Personhood bills also violate the Establishment Clause because in Judaism, we don’t believe a fetus is a person until they are born. But I imagine they don’t care about that.

Seriously. What a monster! /s

Not only is Wolf a common German name, but there are two Wolf’s at my son’s Jewish day school. So can we not?

Yeah - this is no different than my classmates in the late 80s who decided to become deadheads and look like they just came home from Woodstock. I don’t understand why a whole sociological treatise has been dedicated to this.

Ugh. That SUCKS.

I was on a flight on Saturday and the flight attendant made no bones about the mask requirement. She said “I have to wear a mask for 12 hours today and I am having hot flashes. If I can do it, you certainly can wear yours for two hours.” That got a huge round of applause, and deservedly so.

Who’s an edgy boy!

Antisemitism is a word coined to solely refer to hatred of Jews. Don’t be an asshole by claiming otherwise.

Now playing

A delightful song/video released last year by beloved member of the tribe, Daveed Diggs. All of the kids in the video are Jewish as well:

I was bitted by one in 1994 and spent two weeks in the hospital with acute renal failure, so you have every reason to be! I was bitten on the small of my back though and my scar is minimal - like the size of a dime - so that was the silver lining.

I dunno - they were able to get Swinton!

The best thing to come out of that whole baseball scene is that it ultimately resulted in the kickball-in-the-snow scene on What We Do in the Shadows.

The Lives of Others is such a great (and terrifying) movie. Your story illustrated that paranoia and fear so well. I’m glad Lisa’s family made it out OK!

Fuuuuccccckkkkkkkkk.

I love Diego! Good boy!

Terrifying on so many levels! Also, you are a fantastic storyteller (I’m not implying this isn’t real, I mean you kept me on the edge of my seat).
