I know she’s saying “Bastian,” but I saw that gif as her saying “bastard” and I can’t stop laughing. I’m way too easily amused.

‘84 was also the peak of the Arnold Schwarzenegger fantasy movies, and those were on a completely different level from The Neverending Story. Not to mention the cheesy goodness of The Sword and the Sorcerer from ‘82, and also The Dark Crystal of the same year. The first half of the 80's was pretty good for fantasy…
I was born in 84 and loved this movie growing up despite the wolf thing really freaking me out as a kid.
Oh, man, you missed out in 1984. One of my favorites from the 80s. Still a fun watch for me, but I can totally get how seeing it as an adult for the first time would make you not like it.
Also, for those curious, here’s a pic of her from last year, along with Noah “Atreyu”Hathaway.
I would very much appreciate it if Jezebel could give a chapter by chapter accounting of what is in Bolton’s book because while I want to know the gruesome details, I don’t want to give Bolton any money towards his enterprise - information that he should have volunteered in a timely manner for free.
During interviews post season 1, the creators said they had spoken to Pitt’s people, and they were open to it. According to them, all of their cameo slots filled up so quickly they never followed up with Pitt. So it’s not impossible he’ll show up at some point.
I doubt any of the Anne Rice vamps would consider it except maybe Kristen Stewart? Pitt did do weather for the Jim Jeffries show however and cameos in tons of Kimmel skits, so he seems to enjoy some camp. Tom Cruise did a whole thing with Stiller + his Tropic Thunder role... Stewart Townsen... no clue, but it would be…
Guillermo’s arc is like a “will they won’t they” sitcom relationship. Is he going to become a full-time hunter or a vampire? Hopefully whenever the question is answered the series will remain just as good.
On the off-chance that they keep the vampire cameos coming, I’m going to start praying that they both want to, and can successfully accomplish, landing Gary Oldman for an extended guest star role. (Starts “Dracula laughing...”)
Best Vampire Slayer in years.
One of the funniest moments of this season was her wordless head shake refusing Colin Robinson’s kiss.
I don’t give a fuck what his name is! The vampires had to pick up their own laundry!
Gizmo
I loved the Nadja doll
Long live Guillermo Buillermo De la Cruz!
Though we never get an outright explanation for why Nandor keeps putting off Guillermo’s vampire reward, the reason is pretty obvious: he likes having Guillermo at his beck and call as his personal assistant—why would he willingly give that up?
I really hope there’s a story titled “Just One More Disintegration” in this.
Every one of the authors involved with the anthology has forgone compensation for their contribution, and the proceeds from the book will instead be donated to First Book, a nonprofit providing books, educational materials, and other reading tools to educators helping children in need, on top of a $100,000 donation…
I thought a (former) Jedi would already be one with Force, seeing as how they can use it, wouldn’t need to do the chant.
