I would very much appreciate it if Jezebel could give a chapter by chapter accounting of what is in Bolton’s book because while I want to know the gruesome details, I don’t want to give Bolton any money towards his enterprise - information that he should have volunteered in a timely manner for free.

You should read the other comments about the documentary because the article writer is 100% wrong. Unlike Tiger King, this doc gives the victims ample time to tell their story and juxtaposes their poverty with his wealth to show how shit like this happens.

I think you mean, Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da

Well la-ti-dah

According to a study by Morrison, et al (1967), brown-eyed people need to check their privilege, including but not limited to:

Yeah, as a rape survivor, I disagree with a lot of this article. I haven’t watched it all, because it’s very triggering, but I was struck by how much screen time the women were given in the first two episodes I did watch and how they had a lot of people believing them and listening to them - even the cops, which I

The shots of mansions are juxtaposed with shots of the poor and very modest neighborhoods where some of the survivors grew up. Many of the interior shots focused on details like artwork, placement of certain rooms, which also came up in survivors’ stories (and come from police raid footage, rather than some

If you’re a survivor of sexual abuse, it may be too difficult to watch, but I didn’t see the focus on his wealth in the same way as the author. The (now) women he abused described how broken their home lives were, how he essentially set up an abuse pyramid scheme where underage girls who were not wealthy got money to

That’s honestly not at all what happens, and it’s a shame that they author decided to be outraged just to be outraged.

The girls tell their story, name names, and let it all out. His wealth is shown so the viewer can feel how powerless these girls felt in contrast. Is it perfect? No, it probably could have done more,

The victims had their say which adds much legitimacy to the endeavor

I kind of always assumed until recently that she was mixed, like Pete Wentz or Rashida Jones.

“Do you get offended when people mistake you for black?” Pink replied, “Of course I don’t get offended. We’re all pink on the inside.”

When I was little I too thought she was a fellow light-skinned Black Jew like me.

I don’t think what she said was right, but it was very indicative of that time. We’d spent a fair amount of the decade seeing people sell “Love See No Color” shirts and that sort of color-blind capitalism. I would love to read or hear an interview with her where she talks about how that all went down and what she

I think a lot of this is misplaced....I feel like it was really her record label’s fault. It was the late 90's.....everybody wanted their own Britney Spears, and Pink was tapped to be LaFace’s version. She went in and was told how to look, act, sound, and what to record, and when the time came, she got out and did her

“When I was nine years old, I assumed that Pink was a very light-skinned black woman.”

Damn, I forget all about the shit she put in it about eating disorders. It really did age badly! She portrayed bulimia like shallow, party girl antics. It's a serious illness. I’ve been that person crying in front of a toilet trying to throw up. Fuck off, Pink!

I’m still pissed about the Stupid Girls video. It has obviously aged like shit, but even at the time it was painful to watch. I’m glad she defended Jessica Simpson (is that growth?), but it’s like she picks the women she does and doesn’t like and decides whether it’s their fault they’re having a hard time. Eating

Did you interview Pink for this article? I would really like an explanation from her on why she allowed her race to be so ambiguous, why she really refused to clarify it when asked, and why she used a terrible blaccent for so long.

Who in their right mind would compare any of her music to Portishead?
