The movie they made to tie up the show just came out, and brother, was it good.

Good lord, there’s a Herzog mockumentary about Nessie? Where the hell have I been?

I thought the framing device was effective but agree with TGGP - I can’t stand douchbags, and I hate movies that glorify killing douchbags even more, somehow. But having a houseful of crazyass VHS movies worked well, I thought.

Now playing

LOVED this one. I bought the dvd (which naturally means it came on Netflix like a month later) but I massively enjoyed it. And the soundtrack introduced me to a new band! La Femme does the Hypsoline song over the end credits.

While watching Jumanji I remember thinking ‘Yes, FINALLY. A blockbuster movie that is putting him to the correct use.’ And he was phenomenal in Moana. Both were things that touched on personal aspects of his life.

Funny you should mention Pain and Gain - I thought that was one of his more surprisingly daring and interesting projects. It was a comedy so dark nobody saw it (HUR). And honestly I don’t think Wahlberg even understood it was a comedy, but Johnson and Mackie did.

Christ I miss Ferrell doing this bit. I haven’t cry-laughed in a while, so thanks for that.

“It’s Iron Master Time!” will now be my gym pep-talk.

Oooo, that’s interesting! I will keep my eye out for it!

Ah! There he is!

Oof. He’s channeling all kinds of Andy Dick in this photo.

Same. You can’t invoke Grace Jones and then not discuss her. It’s Not Done.

I am here to tell you that some dogs do have super sensitive tummies.

NICE!

I surprised and disappointed myself yesterday by wishing a stroke upon him. A stroke! I never used to have thoughts like that!

I make a point to differentiate between Kylo Ren and Adam Driver.

like non sociopaths do

YES. This is one of my favorite designs of all time, for so many reasons, but most of all how rando cool it is. No reason for a late-medieval Romanian Prince to have Japanese Art Deco armor but it worked so well!

Oh gosh, thanks for this! I have a Prime subscription and didn’t even know!

I bought my subscription on November 10th, 2016 at the reduced rate of 7.50 a month. It’s going up to 15 a month now, and I don’t care. It’s worth it.
