Real question: McGregor got $70m(?) for his fight against Mayweather? So let’s say he’s sitting at $85m total (assuming he hasn’t blown it all on fucking boats and stupid, too tight suits).
If he’s sued by the two fighters AND the UFC for lost revenue (for fucking their already fucked event), how long does he have to

I guess that’s one way to view it, but it really diminishes the whole pirating aspect. You go into Fortnite with a clear objective to be the last person standing. There’s cosmetic stuff on the side to generate revenue, but the whole point is still to win the round. What’s the objective here? Grind for cosmetics?

I don’t think ship upgrades is the right way to go. I don’t want high level ships going around demolishing low level ships who don’t stand a chance.

I’ve read about people who joined random groups, got brigged, and then sat there in protest as the others did stuff. With the joke being the other crew because the brigged individual still gets their shares of any loot. So free gold with no work.

Related to the lack of content my biggest problem with the game is that it’s a loot game with no interesting loot. You have to haul chests back to port to trade them in for gold. That might make sense for things like crates of tea, but not treasure chests. Why can’t we just open them ourselves and take the gold

There is no pirate mischief in any of this.

They’re pirates, why are you surprised they act like pirates? They should add the option to make you walk the plank in shark infested waters, too.

improvements to tracking players who abuse the game’s team killing mechanic.

Well, the real on the other hand is when you don’t give players a tool to abuse they’ll complain that you didn’t give them enough features.

For some reason devs never expect that if you give players a tool they’ll abuse it.

Pfft, and let the French and Russians overtake us as top sellers of arms to other countries? Gotta stay at #1, amirite?

Lots of ICBM facilities scattered in Montana. It’s actually one of the least problematic narrative issues.

Several Air Force bases and a ton of nuclear missile silos in Montana. Probably not the exact area portrayed in the game, but close enough for the narrative.

Edit: There’s a brief spoiler for Final Fantasy XV at the end of my comment; it’s related to this discussion, but I figured I’d warn people it was there.

I have to agree that had the bombs fallen about 2/3 of the way through the game, that would have been much more compelling—and made dealing with Joseph significantly

but Far Cry 6 will be fought with sticks and stones.

I don’t know why they didn’t unionize ages ago. It’s not like this was a new plant - Tesla took over a pre-existing plant and migrated over many of the pre-existing workers at said plant. Most of them were probably UAW workers before the transition.

I disagree.

Sure, and this comment was a tongue-in-cheek joke, but if we’re going to say there is nothing special or profound about your pain, we’re suggesting that everybody goes through the same amount of adversity. And when large blocks of the populace regularly live in fear of the police or struggle against housing and job

As a straight white man in his 30's and in good health, even I know telling people they’re supposed to struggle is just bad optics.
