*cast. Gah.

Also, isn't pretty much the entire case of "The Departed" fairly bad-ass?

I'd put Colin Farrell on the import list, though his better movies (In Bruges, A Home at the End of the World) involve him being less manly.

The whole Palin family is just way out of their league here. Not speaking of Alaskans as a whole, I simply feel that the family was totally unprepared for the simple fact everything they do/have done/say/have said, reverberates 100x stronger on the national stage. There are 600K Alaskans, and 300 million Americans.

I tried to go to [Politico.com] (a friend writes for them) and couldn't deal with the comments. People just saying the foulest, nasties things to each other and about each other. I hurried back here to read interesting, respectful discourse.

@beatrice2000: Exactly. I've gotten to the point where it is simply not worth it to not be in a caring relationship to get nekkid. And since not in a relationship...c'est la vie. But I guess I am making a choice - chocolate cake abounds, but I am waiting for the Angel Food cake to come around.

@pinkyBella: You beat me to it - I am always frustrated by that part, they went against all odds and then didn't try to get him out of the water? Does not compute.

The "pub jacket" ensemble is really not that bad, but what bothers me is that these guys all seem to have waists cinched more than the women. I can't seem to get over the high-waisted, thin belt, pleated-pant look on these dudes. Just me?

Well that settles it. If Cheryl Burke cannot rock a skin tight satin dress, then no one can. Let's just stop making these, OK, designers?

Enquiring minds want to know...is this the same girl from the LookBook a few weeks ago?

There is something wrong with almost everyone's outfit - and pretty much poor footwear choices by all.

Anyone see Evolution with David Duchovny and the 7-Up guy? Yeeeeah...the monsters kinda look like that. Before they turn into huge shoplifter-kidnapping pterodactyls.

I am really afraid of giving biological birth (unnaturally so - I just have no idea how it would work) and I would never do it alone, so until I find a guy that I think would make a good dad and I want to keep around for all the meals of my life, then my inward struggle with Fear of Pregnancy isn't really an issue.

@jennilyn: Right, then. Grammar check, on.

@TexasCrude: So true. I was reading comments following an interesting "My Turn" in Newsweek ([www.newsweek.com]) and then checked the comments, there are so many hypocritical people. All this repressed cave-men anger impulses have somehow wended their way into Internet commenting. It's the modern-day equivalent of a

Re: Nikola Clark - the outfit is cute, if a little sorority-formal. Then again she is probably 19. Also her doppelganger lived next door to me freshman year.

When it comes to guys:

Also, the fact that thanks to reality shows/the internet we can see behind the curtain and realize the people telling us what to wear, eat, listen to, etc. are not some ultra-cool clique; they are just the same as everyone else. Before all this nonsense, there was at least an aura of the magazines being the only way

(Oh btw the wedding is at a WAFFLE HOUSE in Northern Ga. The bride & groom work there.)

My recently engaged friend came across this gem of a wedding. It has a slide show and sound, and is completely hilarious.
