I’ve seen that on a lot of middle-aged (or close) women, though and it’s still considered “nice.” In fact, my sister-in-law wears it that way because her husband told her he wants her to wear it that way. (They’re kind of insufferable to be around, BTW.)

A friend of mine used to wait tables at a high end steakhouse in DC and passed along this Rumsfeld story: when Rumsfeld ordered a coke, my friend asked “Regular or diet?” and old Rummy answered with a twinkle in his eye “Surprise me.” He also tipped quite well.

I saw him with his wife and kids out for lunch in Santa Monica about a month ago. He looked normal, healthy and still fine after all these years.  In the pic above, he’s maybe put on 15 lbs. (and let the workouts go) and had some grooming done.
