Am I the only one who thought Hidden Figures deserved... something? Easily one of the most important stories never told in the history books, fantastic performances by a stellar cast, family friendly (I don’t usually care about this, but this is a film that all children SHOULD see), and it gets completely shut out?

I agree some of these Hollywood people suck but Hacksaw Ridge was a moving and great movie. Just because he is a piece of shit doesn’t mean you can ignore that Mel Gibson is good at directing.

Hacksaw ridge was a terrific film.

Being able to separate the man from the performance, he did a really good job in the role and was deserving of the award.
