Magnolia was indeed a great film! ...shame about the other half an hour.

I’m not in the habit of having an absolute blast with a movie and then hiding that in the review. If I had fun, I’d be eager to share that fact!

I really enjoyed Woody Harrelson’s probable word-for-word take on Joaquin Phoenix’s unhinged Oscar acceptance speech. He really made it his own.

Given the LA high school setting, I want to see Eleven doing Zack Morris’s Saved By the Bell ‘time out’ thing to freeze everyone and talk directly to the camera. But she’s psychically controlling them, and you can see the uncomprehending terror dawning in their eyes.

True, it is hard to think of a show or a movie that couldn’t be improved by adding Walton Goggins. He’s like the sriracha of actors.
