Yeah. Most people really have no idea how much clothing would cost if the people making it were paid a fair wage.
Champion is also a Hanes brand, and the company has had issues in the past with subcontractors using child labor. Clothes typically don’t come that cheap without exploitation of someone, somewhere.
If I recall, Joan Rivers was responsible for that. She was was the first to use the “Who are you wearing?” line. It drastically changed the arc of her life as people began to forget about her comedy roots.
