Withnail and I.

Ray of Light is probably her best, but I also really loved Music. And American Life had some really good songs too, minus the title track. I also really enjoyed Confessions on a Dance Floor. But I feel that everything after that album in 2004 has had diminishing returns. There were a couple of tracks on the recent

I’d like to see MN’s AG Keith Ellison get more involved with these racist incidents. I respect him as a mostly Progressive Politician. He’s been interviewed by a number of outlets in the last couple of days. But there should be way more police officers charged with offenses and the other 3 officers that stood by while

Look, I’m a GenX gal that grew up and pretty much idolized Madonna. But the comparisons are disingenuous most of the time. Yes Born This Way was very reminiscent of Express Yourself. But it was Madge that used the term reductive. Also, again a massive fan of Madonna - I saw her in concert 3 times. I saw Gaga in

DeVito is such a treasure. Along with being a great character actor, he’s directed some very funny film and created the production company Jersey Films. It’s sometimes easy to forget his decades-long resume when he’s climbing out of a couch covered in baby oil. It’s also easy to forget his long history with

I’m a superfan who has watched all the episodes at least twice. But I can always understand it when people don’t appreciate the show as much as I do.

I just started paying for the Doughboys Patreon. I thought about paying for Lauren Lapkus’ as well. But, I have to say, she’s clearly getting way more work than Mitch or Wiger. So I don’t feel as compelled to give her direct cash. I support the hell out of everything she does though, and listen to every podcast she

It’s truly surprising that this show has remained on the air for 15yrs. What’s amazing to me is that I find the quality of the writing has remained above average for all these years.

There are a number of Earwolf podcasts that are only available on Stitcher Premium as well.

I always forget about the paywall b/c I’ve been a Stitcher Premium subscriber for years. EDIT: there is a Stictcher Premium sale for $21 for a year. Code is: summer

(Given Elmo’s typically ingratiating behavior and polarizing popularity, it makes perfect sense for Fallon to be his first guest.)

because in ye olden days flip phones...

I am so 100% with Gwen on this one. I fucking adore every single second of Waiting For Guffman, and I think it’s his best performance in the Christopher Guest movies.

Another passing, sigh. She’s done some great work in TV recently. Is it weird/distasteful to say that I’m surprised none of these recent deaths are due to COVID-19? They’re still tragic, of course.

I mean...even the first instance of seeing Whitford and Jenkins was a surprise to me. I legitimately thought it was just a straight forward teens in the woods horror movie, but with maybe some humor a la Scream.

Wow, I had not read that anecdote. The film does tip it’s hand from the beginning, in a way. Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins are amazing in their roles.

Confessions of a Killer. Bikram. Wormwood. The Mind of Aaron Hernandez, Who Killed Little Gregory, The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, Children of God, Voyeur. Tell Me Who I Am, The Family, The Pharmacist, How To Fix a Drug Scandal, The Devil Next Door, American Anarchist, Team Foxcatcher (infinitely better than

I had not seen it until a couple of weeks ago, and I cannot believe that the film was never spoiled for me in any way. Like, I went in cold to this film and was blown away.

It’s definitely a trope, but I have done that myself.
