Congrats to Jesse Armstrong for winning the Emmy for writing for a dramatic series.  Well deserved, and I’m glad D&D didn’t win any writing awards - or directing awards.

The app does have issues. But many of them are editorial like this one. And, maybe it’s just me, but for me - the access behind the paywall is worth the $2/month I paid.

I found out on the FB group Night Time Foam Corner which is dedicated to all things comedy podcast, especially Earwolf. Many group members have Premium saved the info b/c Stitcher kinda sucks. But the access is worth it, I think. 

Tig Under a Rock might be more appealing to you. A lot of people here are recommending the Eric Andre Show. But that’s a really awkward, very tense show. It’s cringe to the extreme, and you get the impression the guests are really not ok with what’s happening. So you can be fore-warned or more motivated by that…

So, I’m noticing this thread contains either comments about how dumb and boring this looks, and inside jokes from CBB and other Earwolf podcasts. Seems about right. ‘It’s been awhile’ since I’ve watched the BTF segments, and I plan on watching them before I watch the movie. 

I love Traci Reardon, and have always wanted to see Lauren as this character IRL. But goddamn, would it be scary. 

If you’re a Stitcher Premium subscriber, more live episodes of the current CBB Minitour were released yesterday. They’re in the feed labeled CBB Live episodes, not the Special edition feed. 

The fucking Simpsons beat Big Mouth, Bob’s Burgers, Bojack Horseman, and an Adventure Time spin off? Also, Luke Kirby’s ‘take’ on Lenny Bruce is pretty pathetic.

I feel that comes from the unfortunate Showtime channel. I don’t think hardly any of their shows get attention. Unless maybe the show  is a disaster like Dexter was or The Affair is now. 

Just FYI. The Doc Now was a parody of the the Company cast recording. There’s a separate doc about the doomed production and recording of Merrily We Roll Along. Both are good, but the second one has much more drama. I think I saw it on Netflix. OOPS, I can edit this but not delete it. I just noticed the other comment…

I am a Sondheim fanatic. I’ve listened to this soundtrack numerous times. I watched the doc about the production and audio recording of the music. This is a colossally bad decision. The only valuable metric of Boyhood that the viewing public had no idea of the production before it was finished.
