Ugh...my parents are obsessed with Newt. Fox News is the only thing they watch. I have no idea how my mother (who is otherwise completely lovely and wonderful...we just literally cannot talk politics in our home) spawned me, who is the opposite.

Seriously. this is the best! I mean, I liked the video, cause I think it's funny and not meant to be malicious, but this really captures the true nature of girls. we. are. dirty. particularly the voice over line.. haven't we all said that..
I love him more and more with every passing day... Caught one of his many cameos on a 30 rock re-run last night. it was amazeballs.
Ha, love the idea of dirty-diaper-as-missile. As a current non-parent, sure, it's annoying when kids run around or scream on a plane. Babies are a whole other animal.. I also happened to be that baby/kid since I spent the majority of my childhood abroad and frequently had to fly back to the US. Sometimes you just…
I always feel a little disappointed when I see something gossipy like this on the jez... It's totally not a backhanded compliment. No need to further the opinion that Katherine Heigel is some horrible bitch by taking her quote out of context, thereby continuing the girl-on-girl hate.
This has been in discussion a lot on this blog and over at NY Mag in the last year or so, but I do think that women these days, my generation I suppose, are taking fertility for granted. I know I am. We want to think we can wait until we're in our 40s, and "have it all" but its just not true sometimes. 45 is…
I just disliked and reported the video for inappropriate content - hate speech. Doubt it will do any good, but makes me feel better.
Agreed. Personal responsibility, people.
oh man... I tried on the 34D VS "miracle push up" or whatever it was that was supposed to increase you 2 cup sizes. it was HILARIOUS! I can't imagine anyone my size or bigger wanting that.
me. too. I am absolutely horrified of pregnancy and the several years of craziness that follow. I feel like I should be more appreciative of the beauty of life, and how natural it all is and blah blah blah...horrifying!! Does this feeling ever go away? Cause I think i do want to have kids.. ah the confusion!
just amazing. #mycommentisnottooshort
did that get cancelled?? tell me it isn't true..
I am a horrible human being and initially read your GG as Gossip Girl. I fear for myself.
Ha! It is funny. I think we're more intrigued than anything else.. I personally don't get the hype, and don't particularly care. Also, I chalk up our interest in the actual royal wedding as an excuse to start drinking really early in the day, cause we love that..
That would be awesome. But what people seem to be forgetting is that these movies are only being made for their commercial value, not for the story telling. They don't need to be progressive, they need to make money...so of course they go with the familiar.
I would like to express how much I enjoy this comment, and also meet the character minimum, so I will say: I am currently laughing out loud. Nice work.
Yeah...I definitely believe that if you're gonna be pro-choice it has to go both ways, but this just seems really risky and I worry this is not going to end well, which is just sad.
My mom had my brother and I au naturale (ha, my military father actually told her during the birth of her first, "there's no excuse for rudeness") and she would always tell me it's nowhere near as dramatic as they make it look on tv, and I definitely think about that when I see a tv birthing scene. I guess I'm lucky! …
Good luck!! It's going to be amazing. I've done it twice, and NYC is the best possible first time (or any time) marathon.. hint: wear tape or a white sign with your name on it in big letters on your shirt. people will cheer for you by name the whole way and its really inspirational!
Good luck to you!! I've done it twice, and it's such an amazing experience. The first ten miles are like a giant block party, and first avenue is so inspirational.
