This is such a bunch a crap. If those states issue an OPEN FORM to read those tags then anyone can legally read them.

How is that track pad suppose to work? How do you click and drag?

This isn't new. Anyone can do this. RFID is not a secure system. It's not suppose to be. You can clone any RFID tag if you have the equipment. HOWEVER, the information on the tag is nothing but junk unless you parse it properly. So it's secure in the sense that you can't read it and understand what it's saying…
