Perhaps a more apropos comparison would be the ‘95 night race finish...Labonte went across sideways, and went to victory lane heavily damaged.

Anyone remember Dale Earnardt and Terry Labonte at Bristol, back in 1999?
“I just wanted to rattle his cage.”
Would add “Xfinity” too that first sentence to clarify that this was the end of the Xfinity series’ regular season and not “NASCAR’s regular season...”
The manual doesn’t use a CVT. For deeper snow, you’ve gotta slow down and mash that center diff lock button instead (and disable traction control - hold the button for five seconds).
Yea, good job telling how to watch last weeks motogp race at aragon, then NOT following it up describing how a first time winner held off an eight time world champion for the last three laps to take his first win in the premier class.
I get that you need transpo back from NY. But I can’t understand why a man with a fleet of what most would assume are winter beaters needs a winter beater.
You don’t understand how hard it is to be a cop. There’s so much stress, and you have to make split-second decisions like “should I joyride in this stolen car and resist arrest?” We can’t have these heroes in blue second-guessing themselves just because they sometimes decide to commit crimes! Thin blue line!
I’ve always thought these were cool little cars and at that price, I’d surely roll the dice on one.
The officer was suspended with pay
Yes! Do it!
With BMW and Audi discontinuing manual transmissions, it’s ironic that Cadillac, the stereotypical American “old-man’s car”, is the last marque to offer a 6MT sport sedan.
We’re talking about Felipe Nasr here! I’ll see if I have the video.
Bravy Rory - one hell of a review. First one on here that I’ve actually read start to finish instead of just skimmed over.
One of the best top to bottom reviews I’ve ever read here (or anywhere). Had a little tear in my eye by the end. Great stuff, Rory.
Should be automatic consent to being an organ donor too.
In Washington state, it’s not required to wear a helmet, but in the event of a potentially fatal accident, lack of one is an automatic DNR. I think that’s a pretty fair rule for those “freedom” types
My dad was very adamant about me wearing my seat belt. The only really bad accident I’ve been in was just after my 18th birthday and some kid ran a stop sign, hit the back of my beloved Chevy Blazer - my first car - which lead to me spinning out and rolling 3 or 4 times.
You could try to apply the same logic to motorcycle helmets. Clearly in an accident you would benefit from wearing one. Only 18 states require you to wear one. Is this a critical safety measure or can people still decide things for themselves.
