I had a 2005 V6 Tiburon and they for sure were slightly heavier feeling cars. Would never call them a hot mess though. Put 190,000 or so miles on mine before I sold it and it absolutely was the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Only thing that ever needed replacing was the radiator once.

I think the other thing that helped is people being on lockdown (of varying degrees) for 18 months and looking for something to watch. I wonder how much that played into people getting into DTS and thereby the racing itself.
