I’m fairly certain this is wrong, unless there’s something going on that I can’t see/understand. Why/how would you mount the rear shocks on a motorcycle to the back fender? That’s not part of the frame. Those small silver bars seem more decorative than anything. Is this just for looks? I don’t get this at all.

Now I’m wondering where the heck that paper ad was posted. Light pole outside his house?

It’s f’ing nerve wracking, that’s what it is.

Because I am just that sort of crazy person who would cross shop these two bikes. Is the SV650 really the Miata of motorcycles? Is it fun? Do your feet immediately sprout flip flops when you hop on a Gixxer? Which would I buy? Did I do dank whoolies?

Except when you do need a gas tank, even if its just temporarily to get the bike running to do a coolant flush, make sure the fuel line connector (plastic pinch type) is FULLY connected before you start the bike and try to move the tank to check the coolant level.

Saw this on Saturday when the fiance and I went out for a ride. Looks to be a 68-72, left hand drive (I assume all Americas were) and what I’m assuming is a rare automatic? Pretty damn good condition too.
