gawker is complacent in this hoax-you don't get to be all snarky now. How many articles did you create for this?

John Cusack - a "star intermittently over 25 years" is a bit more accurate. Mr. Whipple was a star for that period of time, too - just for some perspective.

8) Is Gawker embarrassed to have devoted so many individual posts to this today?

I had a pair of pink Timberlands in 1991 (don't judge, grunge was in) as a semi-compromise out of Docs that were getting ubiquitous. This isn't new, they're just co-opting now and happy to use up the rest of that pink leather.

Nah, it wouldn't have fazed him - besides, he'd have been safe in his A/C doghouse (as it should be).

The issue for me (with this and the Rice case also) is that if Winston weren't good and a very, very valuable player - he'd have been cut. If Rice hadn't been valued, he'd have been expendable too (see Chris Kluwe as an example of expendable). So the teams are putting winning above doing what is right, and holding

I enjoyed this - but it led me to the Chris Kluwe/Nate Jackson bitchfight that I enjoyed even more!

Seriously - that's what you got from that?

If you're old enough to have experienced Kathie Lee 1.0, this is a level of sad that blows the mind.

Augusta National (home of The Masters and one of the most famous golf courses in the world) admitted black members in 1990 and didn't admit women until 2012 (Condoleeza Rice being one of the 2).

Mastodon! \m/

I've given birth - more than once and with different environments each time. I chuckle at "heavily pregnant" - makes me think you've not been there. Listen, my issue with the inital post here was that there was an incident that happened to a pregnant woman and that incident DID NOT thrust her into labor. She labored,

Person who is railing against me on Twitter - bring it back here, so you don't embarrass both of us further, k?

Mugging MAY HAVE LED to labor. Not taking anything away from pregnant lady - but the headline is ridiculous.

5 hours isn't "a few" and anyone who's been in labor understands what probably happened vs the way this article would lead others to believe. But okay - she was a badass when she needed to be and she made it through labor successfully...win/win/

Interesting how some replies are just dismissed here.

So how does this commenting work again? Grey is one thing, but being blatantly dismissed...that's new, right?

Got you beat by one, and anyway, I wasn't making this an argument over pregnancy woes. The linked article was click-baity as hell - the woman in question didn't go into labor as a result (google it). The woman mentioned here was much less aghast than the OP of this post.
