Gearheads and thinly veiling their bigotry by calling anything made in Asia terrible, name a more perfect duo.
You know what I get when I try to give myself adequate space between me and the car in front of me, that still isn’t even the recommended minimum safe distance? I get jackasses merging right in front of me with their back bumper a few feet or less away from my front bumper! And you know what they do as soon as they…
I’ve definitely been caught off-guard before by cars slamming on their brakes. Computers can react much quicker than I can. Even if it’s braking half a second quicker at 60 miles per hour, that’s potentially stopping 450 feet shorter.
People are fallible, and if it saves lives, it’s worth investing in.
Yes, we also…
This is not directed at you Brad - just a comment on the backwards thinking of lawmakers.
So far, my autobraking has been great. On occasion it goes off as I’m pulling into the garage and it thinks I’m going a bit fast, which, FINE, it’s probably right, and it hates the manhole at the end of my parent’s driveway when I’m backing up. But I will 100% take these minor glitches over not having it.
I loved the 98 Regency. I think during the malaise era Buicks and Olds were better bets than Cadillacs. Aurora is not interesting now, but at the time it was unique and borderline daring.
Loss of bowel control in public followed by a stage 4 brain cancer diagnosis would do the job properly.
Hate me, but I actually don’t have a problem with the XM. After seeing a few of them on the road, I’m ok with the design. It’s a niche vehicle that will be sold in small numbers. Why not make it absurd and brash? What’s the point of making it look like every other SUV?
If he’s a sovereign, just declare war on the fucker and end it.
Spoiler alert: click through on the CBS article and he looks exactly like someone who could get away with this sort of shit for as long as he did without repercussions
Need I mention when the movement and other ideas like it accelerated in recent history? Dark times for historians writing about 2016 to present.
Besides, the V12 is basically a pair of Ford V6s bolted together, so how bad could the maintenance possibly be?
Get a lawyer is almost always the answer. Don’t admit guilt, get a court date, and if it’s bad enough, hire a lawyer. I had a 5-point ticket disappear when my lawyer negotiated a deal where I attended traffic school. I completed the course and my violation got dismissed. It was well worth the $800 I paid.
I think it’s sad commentary that much of this advice rightfully reads like advice for an encounter with a rabid wild animal.
Despite the kinds of revenue cuts that would have most bosses fearing for their jobs, Tesla weirdly saw its share price surge following the investors call last night. That’s because. . .
I’m sure SCOTUS will find a way to ruin this, but in the meantime, the FTC finally did something about non-competes on the national level!!!
At what point do you drop your pants and bend over?
A 55% revenue drop and the stock still ends $4 up from open. I worked on Wall Street for ~4 years (in a marketing function) and I will always say “Fuck Wall Street.”
It’s genuinely incredible to watch the chaos that ensues when the person in charge of a massive company has the attention span of a mayfly. Just one unconsidered, knee-jerk reaction after another.
