Sorry, but the ‘53 and ‘54 Buicks are ugly beasts. They have a face that only a mother can love. They just look so sad. Down turned mouth and tears under it’s eyes. That’s why I loved mine. That, and it (the one in the picture) only had 34,000 miles on it when I bought it and it was all original.

Maybe they just put them in park and rolled them away.

It is market value. That is how the insurance companies pay out. The value at the time of the claim. As I said in another post, my 91 Miata stickered for $14K. I have no illusions that I would get anything close to that now. The payout is based on current value, not what it once was. This guy could have been covered

No, I do not have sympathy for a guy who didn’t get gap insurance on a car that costs more than some people’s homes and then is sad that the insurance payout after depreciation is less than he still owes on his car. Insurance policies for this very situation exist and he elected to not pay a few extra bucks a month

That is a thing of beauty and they should be honored.

You are ALWAYS underwater immediately. The question is when would he have been out from under the water.

I remember back in the 80's, a friend from out of town called to say she was in town for a couple of days, and let’s get together for a drink or something while she was here. My (ex) wife and I were going to be in downtown Dallas anyway, so I said “sure”.

Is this a good reason?

You need to print this out and save it.

That’s just, like, your opinion man. I think each generation of the Corvette has gotten better and better looking.

“To the Hindenpeter!”

Except every vote for a liberal 3rd party candidate, is a vote for Trump that doesn’t get cancelled out. All that does is split the Hillary vote, and actually help Trump. We need to fight the battle with the candidate we have, not the one we want. Voting 3rd party is kind of like supporting Switzerland in WW2 because

While I have issues with some of the builder’s stylistic cues (flat black, JETFIRE, triple headlights) it looks well executed. BUT without any kind of computer nannies to control the torque steer on a 90's FWD car anything north of 300 hp is not just a waste, but a danger to anyone else on the road. So I have to say

There are good purposes, for sure. Race cars with complex graphics, and very specific “artistic” ends come to mind, but wrapping an Oldsmobile in fake carbon fiber is not one of them.

Totally agree. Vinyl wraps; good for buses and promotional Red Bull cars, terrible and cheesy for anything else.

I mean his name is Graverobber, so what do you expect?

My parents have a 15-16 year old difference too, but seriously, I’m just amazed at the gap haha. The mother in law looks young next to him, I saw a picture somewhere.
