My ridiculous (cost-wise) purchase will be an Aston Martin DB12 Volante.

I like how most of these are concept cars, project cars, or racing one-offs. That’s not a good sign. Also, I found the Aurora the exact opposite of interesting.

This sadly is the level of discourse one can expect from one of the cult members.

Remember when this very blog was taking shots at Toyota for their slow movement on BEVs?

Oh yeah; fuck that guy for sure.

My dad was an equities analyst, and I interned at a few financial companies over the years.  The market has never made sense to me; it’s like Twitch Plays Pokemon, only with money.

Yep.  My son (like 19 or 20 at the time) crashed a car (being an idiot) and got a speeding ticket.  Hired a lawyer for $175; lawyer got it reduced to online traffic school/no points, plus a court fee.  Easy peasy lemon squeezie.

Yes. Plus, any cop at any time might well decide to abuse his authority because he doesn’t like you.

The same could be said about companies’ approach to R&D, sadly.

They all say it about every union contract...until they sign it, at which point they announce that they have generously partnered with the union etc. etc.

I sucked a man’s dangus until the milk came out.

Lighten up, Francis.

ACAB

Well I wasn’t a fan of the original films, but we’ll see.

RTD is completely correct. Unless there’s a massive change in the way people think about public broadcasting — and I don’t think there will be — the BBC as a publicly-funded organization is doomed.

I personally love it, but I have not yet seen the most recent season.

Or the three Jesuses.  (The two thin ones balance out the fat one.)

Listen very closely; I will say this only once: What a great show that was.

I dunno; a James Cameron Superman movie would be interesting if nothing else.

I mean, you’re not wrong.
