Holy shit, I was dubious when I saw your comment, but you are underselling how loathsome he is.

I enjoyed The Boys a lot, but I do agree about nuance, etc. The father/son stuff especially grabbed me in the feels (and had me thinking a lot about my issues with my own father, who passed in ‘20). I got very invested.

Ubisoft: Write that down, WRITE THAT DOWN!!

Layoffs are encouraged tbh.  If you can’t grow revenue, you have to cut costs, and the easiest way to do that is just fire a bunch of people.

No Morning Spoilers today?

They didn’t spend it.  The government did.

Nobody gives a fuck about your ranting.

Yeah, I do too lol.

Right?  That’s a fucking car payment.

No, I feel you; like I said, I’ve observed it before.  It might be some kind of regional thing or something, I dunno, but I was raised to leave that unbuttoned for whatever wacky reason.

What, the unbuttoned button on the sleeve? That’s actually super common (and done deliberately most of the time). Like not buttoning the bottom button of a suit jacket.

Maybe.  On the other hand, that’s really not a compelling reason to leave it out.  I’m not sure I understand your point tbh.

You know “active production” and “active preproduction” are not at all the same thing, right?

Nobody is going to mention the fact she probably belittled the makeup artist or the gaffer guy for stepping too close to her?

I’m confused.  How is it the centerpiece?  Sure, it’s the sort of thing media outlets will jump on, but I haven’t seen any hint that this is the focus of her memoir.

2 months severance is nice, but not as nice as keeping your job.

(*Fun fact that spinach does not actually contain an above-average amount of iron.)

I worked for a very large database software company in the 90's, with an...eccentric...CEO. (His name rhymes with Barry Dellinson.)

Thank you!

Who are the two random people in that header image for slide 6?
