I don’t know why, but weird rights entanglements fascinate me. Ever wonder why that favorite movie/TV series/etc. isn’t available on disc or to stream? Almost assuredly it’s a rights problem.

I regularly shop at this Woodman’s (I live in northern IL), and their gas station has always been cheaper. The hilarious bit? The Shell in question is on an outlot of the same property, almost right next to the Woodman’s gas station.

Speaking as someone who has been an obsessive fan of a few things for literal decades, it is exactly this kind of judgmental attitude that keeps me from telling people about my obsessive fandoms.

And how about switching your output device (say, from speakers to headphones)? In Win10, it’s trivially easy: click on the speaker icon, then click on the device name; you’ll be presented with a list of devices from which to choose.
