Another tip: get yourself the iOS app Slidebox. Create albums (or use the albums you’ve already created). Then you can VERY RAPIDLY toss unsorted pics into an album. Seriously, you can do hundreds of photos in almost no time. I don’t remember what the limitations of the free version are, but it’s worth the tiny cost.

And how about switching your output device (say, from speakers to headphones)? In Win10, it’s trivially easy: click on the speaker icon, then click on the device name; you’ll be presented with a list of devices from which to choose.
