In other CW news, they didn’t pick up the B5 pilot script from JMS...but they didn’t drop it, either. They took the unusual (though not unheard of) step of holding it over for next year’s pilot season.

GOOD NEWS! You can still get them, sort of, though they’re pricey. Like you, I loved those crackers (originally called Bacon Thins, at least in the US), and missed them when they left. I’m not sure I’d say it’s not problematic at all. It’s definitely very addictive, and I’ve certainly seen people fall into trouble with it.

In fairness, there’s a lot more to Peloton’s troubles. They got a huge boost in business when the pandemic kicked off and, stupidly, treated that revenue as the new normal and cranked production way up. For some reason, it did not occur to them that a lot of people that used to go to the gym now wanted to work out at…

One year I had piled up six full weeks of vacation time, so I took off from Thanksgiving to New Years.  I set my email auto-responder to tell everyone that I was spending the month of December dead for tax reasons.

I feel like she was often cast as a “quirky girl*” which, at least in those days, meant supporting roles, not starring roles.
