Also, I don’t know anything about Honda specifically, but I have worked with (and for) several large companies where corporate IT does not rule the globe with an iron fist. One client of mine got badly burned by WannaCry because outside of North America they couldn’t get local IT to keep all their servers patched. …
Man, I loved that place, because it was basically just will call: you looked through the catalog, decided what you needed, then placed an order and went and picked it up.
No, it didn’t have the built-in stereo system. It DID smell like Lemon Pledge, though, because let’s face it, that fake wood-grain veneer wasn’t going to clean itself. It was a whopping 25". If I recall correctly, it cost around $500.
I didn’t realize the department stores had their own branded electronics. It makes sense though once I think about it.
I’m old enough to remember when you couldn’t buy shit like that at a department store like Sears or Monkey Wards; in those days, electronics came branded with the store’s name, and were typically awful. I had a friend who had a Montgomery Ward boom box and it was beyond shit.
TIL: J.C. Penney’s is still a thing.

The great circle of spooge is complete.
Hmm. Well-written, accurate without being overly technical, informative, with a friendly tone. Are you sure you belong on the Internet?
Sadly, they’re only available in the Gamma Quadrant.
In my group at a large, 100-yr-old tech company, for example, the lifestyle is for a single man who is able to be away from the home all week. Women are also looked to as the ones who can write grammatically correct sentences, and know how to use PowerPoint/et al — when we ALL should know this.
The struggle is real. My daughter’s employer is “working on” setting up space for her, but until then they tell her to use the bathroom (!) or the break room(!!). Her response is to try and work shorter shifts and just wait until she gets home. Ugh.
I play it on and off. There’s SO MUCH content now, which is a huge change from the early days when content was hard to come by (especially for Klingons).
Very much looking forward to this. I’m still a huge fan of STO.
Unless you (and most of the readership) are prepared to see Jez disappear behind a paywall, there’s no way editors are going to be a thing.
Not to mention that in any consensual breath play, if things get too rough, the sub is going to tap out. You’d have to ignore that and keep going, and at that point, it ain’t consensual.
Also, in my anecdotal experience, people who are into choking make very sure to do it without compressing the carotid, etc. You talk with your partner about everything beforehand, including the techniques you’ll be using and how to tap out long before you get to this point.
What? WFW 3.11 was the best Windows the day it came out, and it was solid and spectacular for a long time afterwards. (Basically until 95.)
Ugh local zoning boards make me want to self-immolate. Go to your town’s website and read the minutes. Watch people argue over the height of signs. It’s sad and tragic and funny.
