I don’t think Letterman is a particularly swell guy either, but he didn’t basically hang whoever he was having an affair with out to dry like Clinton did. He owned up to his mistake. Clinton happily let Lewinsky take the brunt of it for years.

And that’s not going into Clinton’s long, long history of accused rape and

It’s rarely solely about racism and sexism, but racism and sexism magnifies their hate into a harassment campaign lasting half a year. Like, I did not like TLJ either (bad dialogue, cheesy moments, bad plotting, etc.), but the fact that it’s kind of a bad movie doesn’t shake me to my very core the way it does these

I only hated the character insomuch as I hated the entire plot with her and Finn. I’m certainly open to the possibility that I would enjoy the character in the next movie.

I thought her character was godawful, but as Mr. Majestyk said above, it had nothing to do with race or gender, and everyone that’s shitting on the actress for the character is a giant piece of shit that ought to be flushed.

Personally, I found the character to just be grating; she felt like a tagalong buzzkill, and

Fuck these tiny little baby men. Her character sucked, but it had nothing to do with her being Asian or female. Also, if you’re the type of person who thinks an actor should be harassed for taking a job, then you should probably have all your fingers broken so you can’t type anything for a long enough period of time

Talk about a niche sense of humor

I mean, what he says is true.

Sara Gilbert is fantastic, and I will not sit idly by while you refer to her as a “dreg”!

Clearly you don’t ‘see what I’m doing’, because insulting you or insinuating you are or aren’t a compassionate human being is not what I was doing. I was speaking solely about myself, not you.

Mob mentality isn’t a thing? Clearly you’re not on Twitter. The internet you’re on right now is the very mob with pitchforks you claim doesn’t exist.

Louis CK called up the people he had done this too (what he did, by the way, was ask someone if they would watch him jerk off and if they said no he walked away and didn’t do anything) and apologized years ago.

No, actually, the way I did it was harder than being called out by national media - I chose to do it myself. I had no real reason to do it other than calling myself out on my own bullshit. There was nothing forcing me to make the changes in myself. I’m prouder of who I am now than I was, and for me, that’s really all

That’s so cool that your dad works at Nintendo.

Working at universal studios doesn’t count, especially since you clearly don’t shoot footage.

Oh you must come from the reality where shows edit, mix, and promote themselves after shooting is done. My mistake.

I started off liking The Last Jedi quite a bit, but the more I thought about it the less I like it in the context of the rest of the series.

As a stand alone film, it’s one of the better entries in the Star Wars cannon, but I can’t get past it’s explanation of the past between Luke and Kylo.

I just can’t figure how Luke

Now, now. You know the rules. You either think TLJ reinvented cinema in a way that rendered not only the art of moviemaking, but probably your very eyeballs now totally irrelevant; or you’re a reactionary who keeps a tidy shrine to Curtis LeMay that you attend to in your well-appointed study. There’s nothing

oh are you in for a surprise!

Some of us dislike TLJ because it has no idea what it wants to be and mostly squanders a great cast. I’m all for some harsh revisionism in what is one the most revered, yet mediocre canons around. But the sloppy way in which they’re doing it is just boring.

Here’s the full joke, since you can’t be bothered to google it:
