Well judging from the album, the Illuminati appear to be going through a bit of a rough patch. Hopefully they can work through their issues and proceed with the establishment of the New World Order, if only for the sake of their child.
I think they all worked just fine on Buffy. Cordelia and Wesley, obviously, become better, more fully realized characters. But Spike came fully formed.
