I know Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii is widely beloved and I bet it’s fantastic in many ways, but I couldn’t get past 10 minutes of the repetitive combat exclamations. I was like, this is a cacophony of annoying and...I’m done. Was there an option to turn that off that I missed? I’d love to give it another chance.

I loved Super Mario RPG, but that level 30 cap bothers me to no end, even when I was a kid.

I was playing ESO a while back and this guy was following a girl player around unnecessarily. I could hear them over the area chat. It was extremely creepy and morbid. The girl seemed young, and could’ve easily deactivated her chat, I assume she didn’t know what to do. I’m not sure really.

Gee way to even ruin a glimmer of hope that after all these years DQX would come stateside. We can all keep dreaming though...sigh.

I agree with what you said for sure. Xbox One doesn’t have a lot of heap RPGs, but it’s not as bad as the ORIGINAL Xbox was (KOTOR FTW), whereas PS4 is brim full of them. That’s part of the reason I have zero interest on Switch yet. I got a PS4 like 4 months ago and I haven’t touched my Xbox Once, been playing Sword

Ugh, why do they tease us with Dragon Quest X! Please localize it!

I’m praying for Dragon Quest X. I know the rumor says it’s a launch title but nothing says localization or coming to NA. I’d love to play this game, so very much! I know there’s a movement on FB and Reddit to get it localized, but I don’t know if it’s enough. The MMO just looks so much fun!

I think this is another thing that EA denies, that there is no momentum algorithm, which I think is a blatant lie. They’re trying to level the playing field, which hurts the game immensely. I think there was a version of NHL (maybe 2k I don’t know) that had a momentum meter. I’d rather they be honest about it and say,

You get it, and yes I agree.

While NHL 16 was better in some ways (the realness, the play setups, the AI better (sometimes still sucks)), it took a step back in others. Most noticeably for me, the only mode I care about is EASHL. Rather than being allowed to mold you your own character, and play games to gain experience, you are given cookie

Hooray, but I want Dragon Quest X, to play online with some friends more than ANYTHING! Why not?!

I'm playing this on PS3, and while the frame rate for NPC's is relatively low, it's not unplayable. It's quite enjoyable, one big thing I realized is (and sad to say) it looks much better with lower lightsettings on your HDTV. Overall, it's nice to play a console MMORPG once in a while. It's quite good, and enjoyable.
