Dealers can still sell these to customers, they just can’t buy any new ones from GM.

Any sub E class mercedes. They are usually rather cheaply trimmed out, options cost a fortune, and no one really is impressed.

BMW E46. Never found them that good to drive and to me they’ve were just so predictable, completely devoid of emotion or surprise. As a teenager I actually drew one 2 years before it was launched and pretty much nailed it.

Seen it. Still boring.
In the hands of Jackie Chan a step-ladder is a lethal weapon but it’s still just a piece of utilitarian household clutter.

I’ll admit to not really being a fan of any hot hatch. The concept of adding power to a FWD economy car is simply nonsensical to me. You end up compromising on everything.

Honda NSX. An alleged “supercar” that houses all the excitement and aggression of and Accord in a body that was developed by a committee of people who all wanted to leave early for a dental appointment.  It exudes boredom and epitomizes Honda’s absolute lack of anything like automotive soul.  Even the S2000 (Honda’s

That’s it. I think I am done reading Bradley’s posts.

Never thought about owning a Leaf. Now it makes sense.
Electric motorcycles seemed like toys more expensive than my ICE motorbikes.

Now I want a mothertrucking Slingshot?! What a jerk.

You know those are auto-only and front-wheel drive, right?

Had a Jeep in college in New Orleans. Best most fun college car ever. Not a good DD.  But man did I love that car when I was 19.

I have to admit I felt the same way for a long time. I couldn’t fit into a 987 Cayman, but then I was able to drive a base 981 when they first came out. The base was a bit down on power, but otherwise it was absolutely incredible. I know that the 718 gets a fare share of hate because of the 4-banger, but I had a

I think we just became best friends. I’ll take a Godzilla-powered Excursion Sport FX4 on 35s. If at all possible, please include a removable hard top similar to those on the 90s Broncos. Please and thank you.

GTI - Don’t get it, never have. Seems like a car that is mediocre at most things and good at nothing. Add in VW’s legendary “reliability” and I can’t understand the appeal.

I agree. Even on the higher, but not unreasonable end of 15k miles per year, spending $1300/year vs $1150/year in gas in should be an insignificant amount of money to someone looking to spend $30k+ on a car. Even if gas somehow spikes to $5/gal: $3260 vs $2885 still isn’t unbearable. If either of those put you in a

Not to defend this vehicle too much, but I really think David is making a big deal out of a minor difference in fuel economy.

And try building a 7 mile tunnel in the US for a cost that does not include the word “billion”. $160 million for this is ungodly cheap for this type of work. Denmark’s infrastructure is so, so good, and doubly so if you are on feet or a bike, and about 100X better than the US for pedestrians. But, you know, socialism.

OMG, this thing is hideous and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Seriously, it’s so bad it’s good. I want it.

You can’t fix racism with more racism.

Bullshit; it’s happening all around us - it starts with people making a very public outcry for somebody to hire a POC, or a female, for a specific position. Then, the pool of candidates is specifically narrowed down to only people from protected groups; no white guys, or Asians, etc.

If the numbers are this disproportionate, it stands to reason that there is still a racial divide when it comes to education and opportunities.

Oh, for sure, not saying the track is blameless here either, by any stretch. But holy hell, did that driver ever seem dumb.
