What about going to Germany to buy a shit-box van as a goof? Where does that rank in terms of necessity, above or bellow seeing one’s family for the first time in 8 months?

Just because your tags are expired doesn’t mean that you car is uninsured. I am often quite negligent in renewing my tags, and there have been periods of time where they have been expired for many weeks, but I have never, ever driven while uninsured because that’s just stupid. At most, an expired tag is a standard,

Yes, there will be some people that need to fly to get home due to the reasons you listed. This admonishment doesn’t apply to them. Choosing to travel to grandma’s just for her turkey this year is more than selfish. You’ll get another thanksgiving next year.

Who says he was driving around for 30 years? The reason this is a single fine for a single instance of breaking the law is that the cop caught him breaking the law one time.

You people? Some of these loathsome and vile people that have to travel over the holidays have a reason other than stuffing the mouths full of stuffing with their kin.

I saw an ad for something stupid recently that bragged that their product was a “Class 1 Medical Device”, implying that this label meant it was an effective piece of equipment for what they claimed.

It wasn’t a stupid mistake. It was intentional. This is the same guy whos office tells you to put a mask on in between bites of your dinner. This time the press didn’t cover for him so he had to give his fake apology. I bet he sees family at Thanksgiving too.

Hasn’t like half of the Jalopnik staff written articles about large trips they’ve taken during the pandemic?

You people? Some of these loathsome and vile people that have to travel over the holidays have a reason other than stuffing the mouths full of stuffing with their kin. College students that are heading home as universities shut down until after the new year and people that have to normally travel for business heading

Agreed.  Weird though was Rob’s comment about not seeing these in the wild.  I see these every day.

Despite that record of success, when was the last time you actually saw one on the road?

Very easy Nice Price. These little 4cyl trucks are wonderful 2nd or 3rd vehicles that ask for little other than basic maintenance and fuel. They are economical enough to drive everyday if needed and justifiably useful for any home handyman to buy and haul supplies for the honey do list. Also good for light towing

Danny DeVito has never been young in his life.

I started doing a similar thing with the requirement to get an annual inspection, on a fucking travel trailer, in my state. I would waste a Saturday morning, do a 50 mile round trip to the RV dealer, who had official inspection mechanics, then spend an hour of shop time while they checked tail lights, the breakaway

I can not possibly be the only person who immediately wonders if there will be wagers involved in this.

Wait a second... engraver pen? This may be the one thing I learned today... checks internet for more info...

Mine never broke - at least any more than any other 15yo 155K vehicle breaks. Don’t believe everything you hear on the Internet.

I truly love my L322. It is one of the most amazing vehicles I have ever owned and can do so much so well. It’s also absurdly fast for being a gigantic brick...and mine is not even the supercharged one just an HSE

Seeing as how Lincoln has experienced time travel via phone booth, I think he’ll handle it just fine.

Plus I heard he hunted vampires or something too.
