Thanks for inadvertently letting me know about this service, I’ve been wondering if something like it existed for awhile.  If only they’d track local grocery stores who do the same bullshit.

I’ll never forget the first Prime Day. I worked midnights at the time, it was a slow shift, my coworkers and I all sat around excited at what amazing deals may come. Midnight rolled around (it might’ve actually been 3am, East Coast), and BAM! Great discount on a 50 gallon drum of lube. A day I’ll remember forever. 

I am stoked as fuck about getting 20% off on a six-pack of general purpose bleach cleaning spray for the kitchen.

How Amazon Will Trick You Into Buying More on Prime Day

Yep, this is why I use camelcamelcamel.  Their history graph helps show you when they pull some BS like somebody mentioned below, raising the price a few days before so they can “discount” it on Monday.

If you want to save money on Prime Day, Amazon will be offering plenty of deals. So many, in fact, that you might end up spending more than you planned. don’t participate.

My trick is always to fill up my wishlist beforehand, and not look at the deals, just my list and see if some are discounted. Worked fine the last time, got a couple items I really needed, with really good discounts :)
