it especially doesn't work if you haven't been hot in twenty years.

Rosie O'Donnell seems a better fit to play Bannon on one of those late night shows FOX puts together every six months or so, that they think is finally going to be the one to knock off SNL.

Context is important. Baldwin had just finished bailing his daughter out of jail after she was arrested for dog-fighting, stalking her ex, and defacing a synagogue.

I saw Next Movie at the drive-in with The Blues Brothers, and Things are Tough All Over at the drive-in with Neighbors, so to this day I still kind of associate Cheech And Chong with Belushi and Aykroyd.

Yeah, "cause" kind of infers that you want everyone to smoke pot, which you don't, because that would just make it harder to get.

Whoah…..

I don't know about that. As a general rule, that kind of comedy is funnier when it's created by comedians, as opposed to when two actors are hired to pretend to be comedians. If nothing else, it's a purer form, which I supposes is an appropriate descriptor given the subject matter bother teams deal in.

I love that scene. "Meeeeeee and my old lady. Like to go to the 7/11 and pick up some beef jerkyyyyy….."

I actually like the shaggy dog, sketch movie style of Next Movie, and it's fun seeing all those Groundlings people show up. That's one of the more interesting things about those early Cheech And Chong movies—-they weren't just star vehicles, they were also nice little showcases for a lot of other people who were

I find that most reviews of older comedies these days are about 10% review of the actual movie and 90% identifying and condemning any out of date content they may get negative comments about.

That didn't bother me so much, but I was really put off by all the gratuitous pillaging.

it almost is a straight-up horror movie. That's probably a big reason why I like it. I think Rob Zombie probably stole half his schtick from that movie.

Actually all Democrats need to do is motivate their base enough to actually get out and vote next time. Those voters came out for Obama twice. Many of them didn't vote this time because a white Grandma didn't rock their world the same way a charismatic young black guy did. I think many of the people who stayed home

It still comes down to them voting against something for someone else rather than something for themselves. If you;re someone who abides by a "live and let live" attitude, that simply isn't admirable, no matter what your deep, core beliefs are. The bathroom stuff is a ruse and a distraction, and is only brought up as

Cynicism does tend to be the uninformed voter's weapon of choice.

The problem is it's not so much red state/blue state as it is country vs. city. Hard to separate those from each other.

I love Billy Dee Williams, but there was no way in any universe that Warners was going to follow up their hit movie starring Jack Nicholson with one starring Billy Dee Williams.

Yeah, Coolio basically carried the plot of the movie. They cut his scenes out because the movie was almost starting to make sense with them in.

He didn't turn down anything. Jim Carrey was just hotter at the time, and Williams got bumped.

Jeff Goldblum was another.
