The first Evil Dead is the only one Raimi/Tapert/Campbell own all the rights to. The others were produced by The DeLaurentiis Group and Universal respectively, so if they wanted to use anything introduced in those two movies, like the chainsaw hand or the medieval Deadites, they'd have to deal with those studios.

Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness tend to be preferred by people who A: Saw them first, or B: Don't really like horror movies.

In all fairness, Fraction's Hawkeye didn't exist when the movie was being made. I bet the next time the character appears on screen, we'll definitely see the influence of the current series.

Just make the cape black like it originally was. Problem solved.

My favorite comment here is the person who said SNL hasn't been funny since 2009, so they should cancel it.  You're not fooling anyone, Jenny Slate!

I'd say the Andy/boat stuff seemed out of character, but I'm thinking they needed to let him out of the show for a couple of weeks so he could go shoot Hangover 3. If not for that little glitch, I don't think the character would have taken this turn.

I remember an interview with REM from the early 90's where they knock the show, basically saying that Chris Elliott was cool, but they though the show was pretty bad. Their opinion may have softened over the years, I don't know.
