See, I’m not the biggest fan of McFarlane humor (it’s got it’s moments) but I am a fan of McFarlane the man. Yup. I liked it just fine. Everybody seems to have expected MORE dick jokes. What we got was a TNG homage. Marketing should have been more along the “From the producer of “Cosmos” lines.

I dunno; most of the negativity I’ve seen has been among critics, not viewers.
Case in point, the Rotten Tomatoes score is 17% for critics and 91% for viewers as I write this.
I liked last night’s pilot episode. It felt like a fanfic mash-up of ST:TNG and ST:DS9. Even down to the score and sound effects. I didn’t realize how much I wanted something like that until last night.
