Cool post, Jesus! That guy seems crazy. I wonder if that Blue Angels Commander that stepped down last week has seen this vid. He must be thinking "See, our crew wasn't flying THAT low"

I read a few of this books when I was 11 or so. I mostly just remember a part in a tri-sun desert where the captain is having a mirage of a naked women and he describes squeezing her breasts and so on.

'Was my first thought exactly.

I believe for sub-carriers like US Celluar and MEtroPCS their phones are unsubsidized. Meaning you would have to pay the unlocked price in the $450-$700 range for an iPhone. On a side note, it is perhaps possible to unlock a verizon iPhone via jailbreak to work on USCell. A google search shows some moderate success.

I think he may have meant 'within a browser' as meaning without a third-party plugin.

I think Crackle.com deserves at least an honorable mention. They are free, and available on some home-theatre boxes in addition to common web browsers.

Now playing

"Same as it ever was." Haha, thanks Casey. :-)

My thought exactly. 'Probably would have run the price up too close to tablet territory.

I love your review here. However, after reading the last line, the only proper slow clap I could think of was uncle father Oscar. So here's that:

Everything's amazing, and nobody is happy. I just try to think like this. (did the video embed?)

I have had this problem with netflix (being able to play it on 3 different devices), but I've also suffered from the same problem for the last few years because of (other means) of downloading online.

Giz, can you please link to the vimeo (and also YouTube) page for these embedded videos?

I was under the impression that WebM was not supported by hardware acceleration. While there are decoding chips being made, they are not yet in devices and they are not cross-compatible with H.264.

I agree. I'm surprised that didn't get re-cut to look better.

I had the link handy. Here's the video you mentioned: [youtu.be]

I thought the same thing. It lost the cinematic zeal and epic proportion gradually following that first episode.

Hey; thank you for the response. I see what you mean. I hadn't read up on the RemoteHD extension.

Yeah, I wouldn'y mind $3,000 just to get back on my feet.

This doesn't quite do what he's talking about. Does the crack mentioned in this article only apply to audio over AirPlay? The iOS-to-AirPlay video seems like a different set of protocols.
